It doesn’t matter if you’re at work, in the car, trying to unwind at home, or out for coffee with your bestie: Stress can be relentless, and it will literally strike you down any-time, anywhere. That said, it’s important to have a go-to way to cope…https://www.womenshealthmag.com/health/a26453014/simple-meditation-exercise/
I see stuff like this in magazines all the time, but meditation is one thing I have first hand experience with and it really works. I still don’t fully understand why no matter how I much I read on the subject, but I don’t need to.
It works and that’s all I need. I am much calmer in general and I only do it 2 – 3 times per week for about 15 minutes a time. You don’t need to meditate for an hour a day 7 days a week for it to have a positive effect so start small and gradually increase it as you see the benefits.
Start today, you won’t regret it, just find a quiet place, sit down, breath in and out slowly whilst thinking about your breath, if your mind wanders, bring it back. If it wanders again, bring it back. Do this for 5 minutes and you’ve just meditated, it’s as easy as pie.
